I've had some fun installing the Ubuntu Lumina Development Release. It's not meant to be installed on hardware at this point, however, I have done just that. Here is a guide for installing.

(on boot press - tab)
remove quiet splash
(press f-10)
lumina-remix
sudo apt install xorg
sudo apt install ubiquity
sudo apt install ubiquity-casper
startx start-lumina-desktop
(in terminal)
sudo ubiquity
(install via gui)
(from terminal)
mkdir /mnt/chrootdir/
mkdir /mnt/chrootdir/dev/
mkdir /mnt/chrootdir/proc/
mkdir /mnt/chrootdir/sys/
mount /dev/sda5 /mnt/chrootdir/
mount --bind /dev/ /mnt/chrootdir/dev/
mount --bind /proc/ /mnt/chrootdir/proc/
mount --bind /sys/ /mnt/chrootdir/sys/
chroot /mnt/chrootdir/
grub-install /dev/sda
update-grub2 /dev/sda
passwd
usermod -aG sudo username
vi /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config
(mod line)
allowed_users=anybody
passwd username
apt install xorg
apt remove plymouth
apt install lumina-desktop
exit
(reboot)

I've also set autologin for my user.

Create file /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
sudo vi /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

[SeatDefaults]
autologin-user=USER
autologin-user-timeout=0
user-session=lumina-desktop

That's about it. I have it installed on an Acer Apsire One AO722 with a 120GB SSD.

Everything appears to be working, wifi, suspend/resume, sound. No issues at all. :D
